Hot rolled galvanized strip
Manufacture process:- The Cynk-Mal company put a new continous galvanizing line (CGL) of hot rolled steel strip into operation.
- The final product is a zinc coated (galvanized) hot rolled steel strip with the following parameters: - strip thickness: 1,5 – 4 mm; - strip width: 20 - 480 mm; - zinc coating (on both sides): 140 g/m2 – 1000 g/m2.
- Thickness of the zinc coating reaches a desired value thanks to the air -jet used to blow off the excess zinc from the strips as they travel on the line. A new product is very cost – competitive in relation to galvanized cold rolled steel strips due to exclusion of one stage in a production process, i.e. a cold rolling process.
- Application of advanced technology guarantees that a galvanized hot rolled strip has the same structure and a zinc coating adherence as a cold rolled strip. High quality of a product is possible to be reached thanks to a laboratory where quality researches of particular lots of products are constantly being performed. The laboratory is a part of the production department.
