Hot dip galvanized steel strip and wire

according to PN-EN IEC 62561-2 "Lightning protection system components (LPSC) − Part 2: Requirements for conductors and earth electrodes. "

Hot dip galvanized steel strip and hot dip galvanized wire, defined as lightning protection system components, are used for:
  • lightning protection aimed at capturing and directing lightning discharges into the object
  • external earthing intended for conducting and dissipating the lightning current into the ground
  • discharge conduits used for conducting the lightning current from air terminals to earth electrodes
  • horizontal ground electrode system buried in the ground ensuring direct contact with the ground and dissipation of lightning current into the ground.
